Living Rooms

Choose a rug that’s large enough for the front legs of your sofas, chairs, and coffee table to sit comfortably on it. Ideally, the rug should be longer than the sofa and at least 45–60 cm wider than its total width.

Bedrooms

To create a soft landing around the bed, your rug should extend at least 60 cm beyond all sides.

Dining Rooms

Ensure your rug extends a minimum of 90 cm beyond all sides of the dining table. This allows chairs to slide out smoothly without catching the rug’s edge.

Hallways & Entryways

In narrow areas, runners are a perfect fit. For larger entryways or open spaces, square or round rugs can create a welcoming focal point.
